 Terms and Conditions of Booking

Welcome:  Welcome to Woodshill Byres Holiday Cottages. When you make a booking you are entering an agreement with us.

Prices:  The price includes Electricity, Heating, Linen, and Towels.

Payment Conditions:   For all bookings we normally require a 25% deposit by cheque or bank transfer and the booking form completed. A confirmation of booking will then be sent to you via e-mail or in writing. We will hold the booking for 5 days for us to receive the deposit or full payment. The outstanding balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Non payment of balance is taken as a cancellation. Start dates within 6 weeks of booking require full payment at the time of booking. Last minute bookings require cash on arrival.

For additional guests using the sofa bed in Dairy Byre extra bedding and towels will be supplied at a charge of £20 per person.

Cancellations:  Once you have booked your holiday our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel the booking please contact us immediately. Your deposit is non-refundable unless we manage to rebook your canelled dates. We will do our best to re-let the cancelled booking period but if not re-let you will be liable for the full amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.

Non Availability:  We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternate accommodation, but if this were not possible, or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.  

Arrival:  After 4pmYour accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Departure: 10.00am.  Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please try to leave the property as you found it. We reserve the right to enter the property for essential maintenance or deal with an emergency.

Pets:  Due to being a livestock farm we do not accept pets.

Smoking:  We have a strict no smoking policy in the cottages.

Damages and Breakages:  Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the breakage or damage is significant.

Guests:  The number of persons making use of the property must not exceed the stated number on the booking.

Liability:  We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. 

Data:   Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on our computer.
